The Aorangi Stadium Redevelopment Project is a strategic initiative by the Timaru District Council (TDC) to enhance the region’s sports and community infrastructure by seismically upgrading the existing stadium and constructing a new 8 Court facility to be linked to the existing Aorangi facility via a “Link Building”.

TEAM has led a structured Value Engineering process recognising the need to stay within a set budget and a set timeline. The project has been fazed to minimise disruption to this well utalised facility. The new stadium and link building is designed to IL3 100% NBS to enable it’s use as a Disaster Recovery Venue.
