Wayne is a Chartered Engineer and has been in NZ since 2001. He has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry working in contracting, design, consulting & client representative roles.

Most recently Wayne was initially the Programme Director for the Capital Works Programme at Lincoln University. More recently as the Senior Project Manager on the Universities two flagship Science/Education buildings valued at over $100M. The Universities capital programme was valued in excess of $200M.

Prior to this, Wayne was the the Construction and Property Manager for the CDHB. Responsible for procurement and management of all consultants and contractors required for the significant works undertaken. This role required full financial accountability with regular reporting at Board level. After the 2010/11 Earthquakes he was responsible for the engineering evaluation and repair of over 200 CDHB buildings. His experience was invaluable in prioritising repairs, whilst keeping buildings operational to service the health needs of the Canterbury public.

Waynes extensive body of work in Aotearoa includes numerous health projects including Christchurch Woman’s Hospital, the first building in the South Island to use Base Isolation, Franz Joseph Exhibition Centre, the Christchurch Airport Redevelopment, Novotel Christchurch, and Meridian Energy’s infrastructure works.
