Mike brings over 35 years’ experience across the commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure sectors, with deep expertise in building services, project management, and complex project delivery. His career spans consultancy, main contractor, and supply-chain roles, giving him a strong end-to-end understanding of how services design, coordination, and construction influence programme, cost, safety, and operational outcomes. He has led a wide range of services-heavy projects involving mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, and medical gas systems, often within live or operational environments.

His recent roles include Senior Project Manager, Design Manager, and Engineer’s Representative on major programmes such as the Ministry of Health Oxygen Infrastructure Upgrade ($35M), West Coast Regional Council Flood Protection ($60M), and large-scale industrial and infrastructure works. With a background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineering, Mike brings strong technical oversight from design through to commissioning and handover. He takes a practical, solutions-focused approach, ensuring services are well-integrated, risks are managed early, and projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with client objectives
