Andrew is a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He is a proactive project manager with a reputation for building strong relationships with his project teams and taking ownership to resolve issues.  Andrew has a passion for urban regeneration, placemaking and sustainable construction.

Andrew has provided programme management, project management, and Engineer to the Contract services for Air New Zealand, Auckland Council, Auckland Transport, KiwiRail, Goodman, Argosy and Auckland District Health Board in New Zealand, as well as various local authorities, government agencies and professional sports clubs in the United Kingdom.

One of Andrew’s favourite projects of the last two years was the Karangahape Road Streetscape Redevelopment, as the project was highly socially inclusive, and the diverse community were very much involved in the decision making and direction of the design. Andrew’s experience in facilitated stakeholder engagement was essential to achieve alignment, and confirm understanding and support for the project objectives.

Andrew has also worked in the private sector with clients who have strong principles around achieving sustainable outcomes for their projects. He is an advocate of Integrated Design, active stakeholder engagement and pro-active value management as key components to delivering projects that are better for people, the planet and his clients’ bottom line; commercially compelling, socially just, and fit for the future.
