We managed the construction of two 2 million litre potable water storage tanks in Carterton. These tanks were installed to provide backup and resilience to the Wairarapa water supply. This project was considered importance level 3 (IL3).

The foundations were constructed using a post-tensioned concrete slab to minimize the costs and environmental impact of traditional mass concrete foundations.

To mitigate the hazards of working at height, TEAM employed a top-down construction methodology using hydraulic jack lifting. This approach also eliminates the need for large cranes, reducing the associated hazards and environmental impact of operating heavy machinery on site.
